Biography

Professor Kwok is currently serving as the academic director of the School of Public University at University of Calgary. He previously serviced as the associate dean of the Faculty of Social Work for the same university. His is also the current elected President of Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) and the President of Canadian Council of Social Work Regulators (CCSWR).
In his career, he has received numerous research and teaching awards, invited to present at national and international conferences as a keynote and panelist member, and has testified at the Canadian Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights on the topic of visible minorities and the criminal justice system.
