Dr. Cindy Gouvia

Dr. Cindy Gouveia is President and Vice Chancellor of Sheridan College, one of Canada’s top postsecondary institutions for creativity, applied learning, and innovation. She is also the first Asian woman to lead a Canadian postsecondary institution. A proud graduate of the Ontario college system, Dr. Gouveia’s nontraditional academic path informs her leadership. College provided the foundation that eventually led to her MBA and PhD, shaping her commitment to access, inclusion, and learner-centred education.
