Let's Talk: Video Series about Anti-Asian Racism
In response to the alarming rise in anti-Asian racism, the Act2EndRacism Network has produced five short videos, seeking to counter disinformation and misinformation that has fueled anti-Asian sentiment.
The goal of these videos is to have you reflect on your experiences, engage in conversations, and together find ways to address anti-Asian racism, hate and intolerance.
You will find a Discussion Guide as a companion to the videos so that organizations, community partners and not-for-profits can use them as resources. We encourage you to use these videos as much as you can to help bring awareness to anti-Asian racism.
A Teacher Training workshop was hosted on April 18, 2023 to teach you how to use these video in a presentation or workshop. The April 18 workshop slide deck is also included.

Asian Canadian Perspectives: A Resource for Educators
Developed by Asian Canadian Educators Network (ACENet) and ALPHA Education, this resource supports culturally responsive and relevant learning, central to provincial policies on equity, diversity and inclusion. The resources are pathways to implement the Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum, specifically in Language Arts and Social Sciences
The creation of this resource is a recognition of the compelling need to address diversity in learning resources: fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays, songs, films with the diversity of Canadian students; and the importance of connecting school learning with learners’ community-embodied knowledge and their lived experiences.
With texts, about and by Asian Canadians, as the nexus, this resource equips and supports educators and administrators to see possibilities in the curriculum. This resource enables learners to reach back into their histories, reflect on their peoplehood, and make meaning with their communities as an important part of moving into the future as engaged Canadian and global citizens.
A Teacher Training workshop was hosted on April 20, 2023 to teach you how to use these resources in your classroom. The April 20 workshop slidedeck and list of where the resources can be purchased is also included.
